Embedded Controllers

An embedded controller is electronic equipment which is part of a larger system whose primary purpose is not control oriented. For example, weighing systems, high-speed sheet metal forming equipment, and four-color printing presses have little in common, but each is regulated by a customized controller.

The design and development of custom embedded controllers for machinery and manufacturing processes is a primary focus at Barrett Engineering. Following are some examples of the types of controllers which we have designed.
