The MV1 Programmable Pulse Frequency Divider provides a single output pulse following the detection of a specified number of input pulses. The number of input pulses is programmable, along with other features. The unit is designed for use in systems which incorporate both mechanical or electronic sensors and transducers such as flow meters, rotary encoders, optical sensors, and limit switches. It finds application in diverse industrial applications from general pulse rate conversion (such as one output pulse per gallon, inch, or other scaling applications), through factory conveyer control and management of data information system interfacing. Both relay contact and solid-state outputs are provided for simple connection to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) or computerized control systems.
