The Selex 4 Liquid Level Sensor is a compact, solid state module, with advanced ferromagnetic technology to provide full galvanic isolation of liquid level sending probes. The Selex 4 uses a low impedance technique which passes no measurable current through the liquid. Detecting free ions in the liquid provides reliable level sensing even in bad conditions such as deposit build up on the probe. When designing the probe, optimal surface area is dependent on the free ion density of media under test.
